Kirby & Z is an independent, full-service interior design firm with a straightforward mission to help our clients love where they live.
Headquartered in the Houston Metro area, Kirby & Z provides residential and hospitality design services. For residential projects, we specialize in remodels, space planning, lighting and color selection, decorating and selection of décor including furniture and window treatments. Additionally, we provide hospitably services including, but not limited to, FF&E procurement and interior design.
We are a hands-on team that works with you from initial consultation to final reveal. We get to know you, your tastes and interests so we can create to-scale space plans and design selections that exceed your expectations.
Our team is proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp allowing us to provide accurate, to-scale drawings of your spaces. Here are some of our services:
About the Owner
Lilly Powell is the founder and principal designer of Kirby and Z.
Lilly has nearly a decade of experience designing homes and corporate offices in Houston and Dallas. She has worked with a variety of clients and managed projects of all sizes and budgets.
From demolition and construction plans to furniture layouts and lighting, Lilly has successfully designed beautiful spaces from ceiling to floor.
As leader of Kirby and Z Interior Design, Lilly strives to cultivate lasting relationships with clients, while enabling them to have the homes of their dreams.
Lilly is past-president of the National Kitchen and Bath Association Gulf Coast Chapter and previously a member of American Society of Interior Designers Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.
Lilly and her husband are proud parents of a 13 year old daughter. When she’s not designing for clients, Lilly enjoys being a wife and mom and sharing adventures with her family.
